Expected release: Spring 2022

This game has certainly caught many people’s eyes with its gorgeous design and unique co-op mode. In AtOoTG, you play as Lisha, an adventurous girl who is accompanied by the second playable character, AMBU, a systematic oriented robot; they venture into the unknown to discover the hidden mysteries of an abandoned temple.

The developers, Underscore, have clearly gone above and beyond with the design of this title. It is extremely vibrant, the music complements every location and situation you are in perfectly, and the characters have clear personalities that will have you relate to them frequently.

Hosting a unique approach to its co-op, AtOoTG will have the player playing as Lisha more motion control oriented, playing on the TV using the separated Joy Con controllers, while people who control AMBU use the Switches touch screen to approach thing in a more systematic way.

It is always great seeing Indie developers approach their titles in cool and quirky ways, and this game is one that should be on any Indie lover list.

Released: December 15, 2021

A ton of indie games these days are side-scrolling RPGs; seriously, they have saturated the market. But none has you playing a zombie that relies on cooking his enemies and ingesting them for their powers.

Dungeon Munchies is the definition of strange, but it looks like such a fun experience. With a stellar soundtrack, a 64-bit graphics approach, and over-the-top battles, DM will have you both scratching your head and grinning at the same time.

With your play style differing, based on what monsters you have ingested, and having 19 different recipes to test out, it is safe to say DM will have you fidgeting with new and interesting combos throughout.

So, put on your chef hats and get ready to go on a post-mortem foodie adventure.
