He stressed, however, that WAFF, thanks to the cooperation
of other regional federations, succeeded in overcoming the obstacles and was
keen to maintain the federation’s activities and competitions.
In a letter to the regional federations affiliated with
WAFF, His Royal Highness expressed that they are very proud of the unparalleled
cooperation that it received from all the member federations.
In the letter, Prince Ali also shared WAFF’s accomplishments
for 2021, including administrative activities, training and arbitration
courses, workshops in various fields, and signing several agreements to host
upcoming tournaments.
His Royal Highness reiterated that what the federation had
achieved would not have been possible had it not been for the mutual keenness
of the civil federations to serve and develop football in the region, in
addition to their continuous cooperation and interaction with the WAFF.
