Earlier this
year, a Jordanian court froze the club’s assets, including its bank account, in
response to two lawsuits brought by players against the club which complained
of a financial crunch.
In a
statement, Shamayleh said the temporary board he heads ‘’extends its sincere
thanks to all those who contributed to closing this case.’’
As for
unsettled claims, he said ‘’all rights are reserved’’ and that ‘’work is being
done according to a timeline’’ to pay all outstanding dues.
In
conclusion, the statement appealed to supporters to ’’rally’’ behind the club to
overcome its financial crisis ‘’whether by paying member contributions … or by providing
support to the club’s fund.”
