Amman – The Football Associations Disciplinary Committee met yesterday to discuss a series of sanctions to address several disciplinary issues that arose during the Jordan Cup championship, according to Al-Ghad news.
The most prominent sanction was preventing Al-Faisaly club fans from attending the first home match, after the events took place during the team’s last game in the championship against Sahab.
The committee also decided to fine Sahab Club JD2000 because of the behavior of its fans during the team’s last match against Al-Faisaly, while Al-Faisaly club was fined JD1,000.
The committee also rejected a complaint filed by the Al-Jalil Club regarding the alleged illegal participation of Al-Hussein player Saif Darwish in the Jordanian Cup league, leaving the result as it is, with Al-Hussein winning 1-0 against Al-Jalil.
