AMMAN — The third round of
the
Jordan Professional Football League concluded recently with Al-Hussein
Irbid leading the scoreboard.

In
the third round, Shabab Al-Ordon defeated Al-Salt 1–0, while Al-Jazeera tied
with Maan 1–1. Al-Hussein Irbid beat Al-Ramtha 2–0, Sahab defeated Al-Sareeh
1–0, and Al-Faisaly tied with Mughir Al-Sarhan 1–1.
Al-Hussein
Irbid holds seven points in the standings, Shabab Al-Ordon came second with six
points, Sahab and Al-Faisaly have five points, Shabab Aqaba have four points, Al-Sareeh
and Al-Ramtha have three. Mughir Al-Sarhan and Maan have two points, while
Al-Salt and Al-Jazeera have one point each and and Al-Wehdat has no points.
Al-Wehdat was not able to
participate in the first three weeks of the league, due to their participation
in the
AFC Champions League from April 7–27. The dates of Al-Wehdat’s three
matches will be determined later.
