Al-Nashmeyat faces Algeria in the Arab Cup

AMMAN — The women's national team will play their first match in the third edition of the Arab Cup 2021 Wednesday evening against the Algerian team.اضافة اعلان

The tournament sees the participation of 7 teams in two groups. Egypt, Tunisia, Sudan, and Lebanon are in Group 1, while Algeria, Palestine, and the Jordanian national team are in Group 2.

“The Arab Championship is the final stage of preparation for the team before participating in the Asian qualifiers in mid-September,’’ said David Nachimiento, head coach of the women’s football national team.

“The level of the participating teams will enhance the experience and readiness of our players before the qualifiers, and we look forward to facing Algeria in the opening game and performing on a high level.”
