AMMAN — The
Jordanian Football Association (JFA) Disciplinary Committee issued a number of
penalties measures against Al-Ramtha FC due to their refusal of the second-place
crowning following the Jordan Sheild Cup final.

The committee decided
to deny the club financial and in-kind prizes for their Shield Cup
participation, alongside issuing a JD10,000 fine pursuant to the provisions of
the article 43 of the disciplinary regulations.
The committee also announced the suspension of some of
Al-Ramtha’s governing body including Mohammed Kassem Nader, Hani Hamza, Hussein
Al-Tarawneh, Omar Samara, and Rizq Al-Masri for six official matches.
Each of the aforementioned members were also issued a
JD2,500 fine and were banned from the stadium, pursuant to articles 78 and 87/1
of the disciplinary regulations.
