AMMAN —
Al-Wehdat managed a single goal during its match on
Friday against its Saudi host, Al-Faisaly, resulting in a 1–1 draw.

The match took place at Prince Muhammad bin Fahd Stadium in
Dammam, as part of the fifth group competition of the
AFC Champions League.
Qatar's Al-Sadd also tied with Uzbekistan's Nasaf 1–1 during
the fifth group matches.
Raed Assaf, Al-Wehdat’s coach, said in statements during the
press conference that followed the match: "Our team deserved to be a
winners against Al-Faisaly. We had many opportunities in the second half, but
we did not take advantage of them."
He added “now we have to turn the page of
Al-Faisaly and
start thinking about facing Nasaf of Uzbekistan for the second round in the
fifth group.”
