AMMAN — Ayla Oasis Development Company on Saturday released a statement announcing its support for the Shabab Al-Aqaba Club’s activities for a fifth consecutive year.

This support comes within Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA) strategy to advance sports, while expanding its activities to reach youth and those interested in sports in the Aqaba region.
Based on its social responsibility strategy, aimed at achieving sustainable development by supporting various sectors, especially sports and youth, Ayla supports the efforts led by ASEZA in providing a wide range of activities, the company said in its statement.
The support comes with the aim of helping with the club’s activities that highlight the creative talents and energies of young people in Aqaba.
Ayla’s managing director, Sahl Dudin, expressed pride in the club’s accomplishments, during which it was able to compete in the Jordanian Football Professional League. The club includes individuals from the local community in Aqaba.
Dudin stressed the importance of supporting the activities of the club, considering the challenges of COVID-19.
For their part, the president of Shabab Al-Aqaba Club, Rajab Darwish, and members of the administrative board expressed their pride in the partnership with Ayla and its contributions to the community and its development, especially the youth sector, and their role in overcoming the effects of the pandemic.
This Ayla initiative comes in support of the club’s efforts in supporting youth and giving exceptionally talented athletes the necessary priority and support, according to the statement.
