AMMAN — The women's national football team lost 0–1 to its
Indian counterpart, in a match that brought them together at Prince Mohammed
Stadium in Zarqa, as part of the tripartite friendly tournament.
With this victory, the Indian team secured first place in
the tournament, after it had defeated its Egyptian counterpart in the first
match with the same score.
The women's team will conclude their campaign against the
Egyptian team at 10:30pm on Monday at the same stadium.
