AMMAN — Young Jordanian, Mohamed Aboura, expressed joy after receving a letter from Algerian Manchester City player, Riyad Mahrez, expressing the ahtlete’s support to the 17 year old who has been battling cancer since March last year.

Aboura took to social media to share a video of Mahrez thanking the young man for his support to Man City and wishing him a “speedy recovery”.
Mahrez said in the video: “Hello Mohamed, I have heard about your story. We want to thank you for being a fan of Manchester City, and we wish you a speedy recovery.”
Voicing his joy and appreciation at all the well wishes and support, Aboura told Jordan News: “I would like to thank everyone who has supported me, especially the Algerian people, Riyad Mahrez and Manchester City. It was a surprise from Riyad Mahrez that I will never forget.”
Aboura ended the video by congratulating the Arab World on the occasion of Ramadan.
Last year, dozens of Al-Wehdat fans visited Aboura’s home to show their support and lift the teen’s spirits.
Last season, Aboura had the chance to hold up the Pro League Cup with Wehdat and the Jordan Basketball Federation invited Aboura to him to attend the Kumho League final between Al-Ahla and Wehdat.
