The match will be held on January 28 and within the approved
FIFA days. According to Nashama’s technical staff led by Coach
Adnan Hamad, the match preparation is held in vision with their preparations for the Asian qualifiers,
which will be held using an assembly system next June.
The match against New Zealand is considered the fifth
preparatory stage for the team of the continental competition.
The team competed in its fourth preparatory stage at the
FIFA 2021 Arab Cup in December in Doha, where it reached the quarter-finals
after being a runner-up in a group that included Morocco, Saudi Arabia, and
Palestine, before stopping his advance against his Egyptian counterpart (1-3).
It is worth noting that the Asian qualifiers draw will be
held in the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur, next February 24, while the
matches will be held on June 8, 11, and 14, with the venues for hosting groups
determined later.
