AMMAN — A national U23 football delegation team headed to Doha
on Saturday, for a training camp in preparation for two friendly matches
against Qatar which will be held during the visit.
The training camp will be from May 22 to 28,
and the national team’s matches against Qatar will be on May 23 and 26.
The training camp and friendly matches are
held in preparation for the AFC U23 Cup finals which will be held in Uzbekistan
in June.
The draw for the AFC U23 Cup finals placed Jordan in
Group B along with the teams of Australia, Iraq, and Kuwait.
