AMMAN — The
national under-23 football team started training in Amman on Tuesday, preparing to face its Syrian counterpart in friendlies on September 3 and 7, as part of its preparations for the
Asian Cup qualifiers.

The team’s full squad trained at Al-Karama stadium under head coach Ahmad Hayel, where the training included some physical and technical aspects of the game.
The team is preparing for the West Asian Under-23 Championship in Saudi Arabia in October, before participating in the Asian qualifiers in Jordan later that month, where the team will participate in group six alongside Palestine and Turkmenistan.
