National team calls up players for friendlies

AMMAN — The national team, led by coach Adnan Hamad, has called up players Rajaai Ayed and Mustafa Kamal to prepare for the three-way friendly tournament.اضافة اعلان

The request followed medical examinations showing that Mohamed Al-Damiri and Nour Al-Rawabdeh had been injured, requiring them to undergo a rehabilitation program to ensure their return to the field as soon as possible. 

The national team has continued training daily in preparation to play Malaysia at 6pm on Wednesday. Uzbekistan is also participating in the matches being held at King Abdullah II Stadium.

The three-way friendly tournament comes as part of the national team’s preparation for the 2021 FIFA Arab Cup, starting late next month in Doha, where the national team is in the third group along with Morocco, Saudi Arabia, and Palestine. 

The national team will play Kosovo in Pristina on November 10, and Belarus on November 16, in Minsk in preparation for the Arab Cup.
