National football team, led by coach
Adnan Hamad, continued training in preparation to play Malaysia at 6pm on Wednesday for the opening of a three-way friendly tournament, which also includes Uzbekistan.

In statements made to the media, Adnan Hamad stressed the importance of taking part in the three-way tournament, which is part of the program to prepare for the
2021 FIFA Arab Cup, as the coaches continue to assess players’ preparedness.
He added: “We ensure that the season’s agenda continues, and we adhere to FIFA’s regulations to ensure the continuity of local leagues … we started the preparatory phase through Bahrain Camp last month, and we are currently preparing for a friendly tournament in Amman, before the Arab Cup next month concludes with a camp in Europe.”
Hamad noted that the approach being applied by the national team’s staff relies on building a team with young names, as part of the gradual rebuilding process to reach a competitive team capable of sustaining and giving in the upcoming years.
