AMMAN — Football player of Jordan’s first
national football team and player of the Belgian club Oud-Heverlee Leuven (OV Leuven), Musa
Al-Taamari, revealed his ambition in reaching the play-offs with OV Leuven in
the Belgian League despite losing points during the first stage of the league.

In an interview published in
OV Leuven’s website Taamari
said: “Winter training is going well. We are training hard. We want to perform
well in the second half of the season. Our ambition is to reach the play-off
match. Our effort for the club and the fans, we should be able to do that."
He added that the losses are part of the sport and that “it
was a struggle. I hope that we have learned from that and that we can score
more points in the next stage."
Taamari contributed to his team’s victory in his team’s last
match in 2021 against Royal Charleroi 0-3, by scoring his first goal in the
tournament for the season, noting: “It has been a long time since I scored, I
am very happy with my first goal, I am now I'm looking forward and I have to
score more in the second round and make more passes, I play in the wing
position and there you are judged based on the number of goals and it helps you
build your name, so I think it's very important."
