AMMAN — Qatar is set to host the 2021
FIFA Arab Cup draw at 9pm this Tuesday at the Katara Opera House.

Some 23 Arab teams will be vying for the cup during the tournament, which has been scheduled between December 1 and December 18.
The Arab Cup final on December 18 will also mark Qatar’s National Days, held around a year before the Arab Gulf country’s capital, Doha, hosts the
FIFA World Cup in 2022.
Only a few representatives from the contesting Arab teams will attend the draw as per precautionary measures put in place to limit the spread of
COVID-19.
The 2021 edition, marks the first Arab Cup in nine years following the 2012 cup hosted by Saudi Arabia and won by Morocco.
The 23 nations that will be present at the championship include: Qatar, Jordan, Algeria, Bahrain, Comoros, Djibouti, Egypt, Iraq, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, the UAE and Yemen.
The matches slated for the 2021 Arab Cup will be played on six out of the eight stadiums built to host the 2022 World Cup to test the facilities in preparation for next year, according to a statement on FIFA’s official website.
