AMMAN — Islam Thiabat, coach of
Jordan’s national U20 football team, assured that the selection of players to participate in the training of the national youth team U20, came after close follow-up for leagues of all age groups.

"We, together with the assistant technical staff, strive to follow the maximum number of matches, and stand at the technical level of all teams, as these tournaments enhance the options for the next stage," said Thiabat in a statement to the official website of the Football Association.
He added: "We are waiting for participation in the West Asian Championship in Iraq in two months, and this event comes after a long stoppage due to COVID-19.
The youth team began its weekly training at the Polo Field in Al Hussein Youth City, amid the implementation of a strict health protocol in order to maintain public safety.
