The decision followed a claim by Saifi against Wehdat, demanding his unpaid wages, which he said amounted to $88,000.
In remarks to Jordan News, Wehdat’s lawyer Mohammad Daghmash said: We have received
FIFA’s ruling in favor of Saifi, who is to be paid $56 million, the same sum we had promised him before he filed the complaint.”
The legal expert added: “In his official claim against the club, the Tunisian pro athlete had demanded around $88,500, which is an exaggerated and entirely inaccurate figure, according to Wehdat records…”
“The player and his lawyer refused to forgo any part of the sum requested, despite being inaccurate based on the club’s records,” Daghmash continued.
