AMMAN — The Kingdom’s national women’s team concluded their participation in the international Armenian friendlies championship with a (6-0) win against Lebanon.
“We have achieved all the objectives we had in mind going into the tournament,” national team coach, David Nascimento, was quoted as saying on the Jordan Football Association’s website.
He added: I am pleased with the high morale the players showed, we played a great game and as the team’s technical apparatus, I think we are proud of their overall performance in the championship.”
The national team had lost its first game, against Lithuania and tied in its second one against Romania; as part of the championship, which sought to prepare teams to take part in the 2022 Asia Cup finals in September.
