AMMAN — A source has told
Jordan News that the first wing of the national team, Ameen Abu Hawas, has officially asked
Qatar’s Al-Shamal to cancel his contract because he is not comfortable and wants to return to Jordan to represent one of the super league clubs next season.

According to the source, who preferred to remain anonymous, Ameen Abu Hawas has sent an official letter to his club management to cancel his contract, but the management has refused and asked him and the local team he was negotiating with to pay about $18,000 to allow him to leave, but the player refused and has failed to attend the trainings.
According to what the source told
Jordan News, Al-Shamal club has asked the player not to attend the training sessions, and not to participate in the team’s recent friendly match with
Qatar’s Rayyan.
The player is expected to have met with the management on Wednesday to obtain his release papers.
The contract signed by the player with his agent was deemed null and void by the club because of problems with the terms and conditions of the contract, according to the source.
