AMMAN — The
Jordan Basketball Federation on Tuesday that it would hold a press conference in the next 48 hours to introduce a new player, who was granted Jordanian citizenship to represent the women’s team during stage two of the FIBA Asia Cup finals, being hosted by Jordan on November 7 to 13, at Prince Hamza Hall, in Sport City.

The team’s manager, Faisal Nussour and his assistant Nayef Asfour, have decided on the 12 players that will represent Jordan at the Asia Cup.
The national team is in group two with Kazakhstan and Indonesia, while group one includes Lebanon, Syria, and Iran. The national team begins its run next Monday with a match against Indonesia at 7pm, and will play Kazakhstan the next day at the same time.
