AMMAN — The
first
national basketball team, the Jordan Falcons, qualified for the FIBA Asia
Cup semifinals after their win against Iran 91-76, on Wednesday at the Istora
Stadium in Jakarta, Indonesia during the quarterfinal match.

On Saturday, the
Falcons will begin their participation in the semifinals against the winner in
the China versus Lebanon match.
From Jordan’s
side, the naturalized American Dar Tucker emerged in, scoring 29 points with
six rebounds, four assists, and a steal.
Ahmad Al-Duwairi put up with a double-double, scoring 15 points, 10
rebounds, four assists, three steals and three blocks.
Freddy Ibrahim scored 23 points with three rebounds, four assists, three
steals, and two blocks.
From the Irani
team, Hamed Haddadi emerged achieving a double-double, scoring 19 points with
16 rebounds, three assists, a steal and a block, followed by Muhammad Jamshidi
with 23 points with five assists and a steal.
Bahnam Yakhsali came next
scoring 18 points with five rebounds.
