Falcons to face New Zealand for Basketball World Cup qualifiers

AMMAN — The first national basketball team, the Jordan Falcons, will play against New Zealand, as part of the fourth stage of the Asian qualifiers for the 2023 World Cup, on Monday at 10am. The game will take place at the Venda Hall in Auckland City.اضافة اعلان

As part of the same group, the Lebanese team will play India at the Indian city of Bengaluru at 3:30pm on Monday. The Philippines will also play their Saudi counterpart in Manila on the same day at 2pm.

During the last round, the Falcons defeated the Indian team 80–64, while Lebanon beat the Philippines 85–81, and New Zealand beat Saudi Arabia 80–65.

The New Zealand team leads the Group E standings with 10 points, followed by Lebanon second with nine, the Falcons came in third place with eight points, then the Philippines fourth with seven points, Saudi Arabia is fifth with six points, and India is sixth with five points.
