AMMAN — The
Jordan Basketball Federation on Wednesday held a lengthy meeting with the national high commission, which included representatives from every state institution, to discuss logistical and organizational arrangements for Jordan to host level B of the Asia Women’s Basketball Cup, from November 7 to 13.

The meeting was held at the Jordan Basketball Federation’s headquarters, and was attended by Tayseer Saadeh, Mohammad Al-Dabbas, Mommen Abadi acting as representatives for the federation, along with Col. Mahmoud Al-Geneini (Military Sports Federation), Capt. Amjad Arabiyat (Preventive Security), Maj. Nail Al-Outhman (Directorate of Sport Security), Ahmad Al-Bitar (Jordan Olympic Committee), along with a number of other officials.
All of the arrangements have been made to facilitate the movement of delegations, provide security to teams, ensure the implementation of health protocols, and allocate a specialized medical team to deal with emergencies during games and trainings.
A “health bubble” system will be applied during the cup, and people must show a green Sanad pass to guarantee that a person has taken two doses of the vaccine, or has had the first dose, or has taken a PCR test 72 hours before the inspection.
