AMMAN — The technical staff of the first national basketball team, the Jordan Falcons, led by coach Wissam Al-Sous and his two assistants,
announced the preliminary list of players that will represent the team at the Arab
Basketball Championship which is hosted by the UAE.
The championship will be held February 8–16.
The list included 17 players: Zaid Abbas, Amin Abu Hawas,
Malik Kanaan, Mahmoud Hazaimeh, and Fadi Qarmash, from the Orthodox club; Mahmoud
Abdeen, Youssef Abu Wazna, Muhammad Shaher, and Zain Najdawi from Al-Wehdat; Ahmed
Hamarsha, Jordan Desouki, and Ahmed Obaid, from Al-Ahli; Ali Kanaan from
Al-Jubiha; Adham Dajani from Kufryopa; in addition to the professionals, Freddy
Ibrahim, Hashem Abbas and Sami Bzai.
