The Falcons ranked
35th globally, sixth in Asia, and second in the Arab world.
These advancements are
attributed to the Falcons placing in fourth place in the last Asia Cup, and its
victory over India (80–64), and its loss to New Zealand (72–100) in the fourth
window of the Asian qualifiers for the 2023 World Cup.
The
Falcons’ best ranking from FIBA to date was
in 2011 after coming second place in the Asia Cup, ranking them 28th in the
world and fourth in Asia, and second in the Arab world.
