AMMAN — Jordan’s top
basketball team concluded a
training camp in Turkey on Wednesday, as part of its preparations for the fifth
window of the Asian Qualifiers for the 2023 World Cup finals, which will take
place in Japan, the Philippines, and Indonesia.

The Jordan Falcons played five friendly matches during
the training camp, defeating Turkey’s Pisa Bulls (89-64) and Yorkspor (85-75)
teams. They lost to Turkey’s Harimspor (86-94), Avendeleri (73-76), and
Besiktas (68-94) teams.
The basketball team will play against the Phillipines on
November 10 at the Prince Hamzah Hall at
Al-Hussein Youth City, and it will
meet New Zealand on November 13 at the same location. A victory in both games
will qualify the team for the World Cup for the third time in its history.
