AMMAN — The first national basketball team, the Jordan Falcons, lost to the UAE, 81–85 (first half 47–41), in a match on Tuesday at the Rashid Bin Hamdan Hall at Al-Nasr Club, as part of the preliminary rounds of the Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Championship. اضافة اعلان

The first group matches also included Libya and Tunisia in addition to Jordan.

The Arab Basketball Championship is considered a good preparatory stage for the Falcons before hosting the Lebanon and Indonesia teams on February 24 and 27, as part of the second stage of the Asian qualifiers for the 2023 World Cup finals.
