AMMAN — The first
national basketball team, the
Jordan Falcons, are set to play against India in the Asian qualifiers for the
2023 World Cup.

The game is set
for 7pm Thursday evening at Prince Hamzah Hall in Al-Hussein Youth City.
The national
team is currently in third place in Group E standings with six points, equal to
the Philippines, which came fourth.
New Zealand
leads the group’s ranking with eight points, Lebanon comes in second with seven
points, while Saudi Arabia is in fifth place with five points, India came in
sixth place with four points.
The Jordanian TV
Sports Channel will broadcast the match with joint commentary from Samer Taha
and Zaid Sahouri, while Bein Sports 4 will also broadcast the match with Othman
Al-Qarini’s commentary.
