Jordan to meet UAE in Arab Basketball Championship Tuesday

AMMAN — The first national basketball team, the Jordan Falcons, start their journey in 24th edition of the Arab Basketball Championship today, Tuesday by facing the UAE team at 4pm in the Al-Nasr Hall.اضافة اعلان

The falcons are amongst the first group teams with Libya, the UAE, and Tunisia, while the second group teams include Lebanon, Algeria, and Somalia after the withdrawal of Syria and Morocco.

The Arab Championship serves as a good preparation step for the participating teams, from Africa and Asia, in the second window of the qualifiers for the World Cup 2023.

Jordan will be hosting Lebanon and Indonesia on February 24 and 27 as part of the second stage of the Asian qualifiers.
