AMMAN — The national under-18 women’s national
team came in sixth place in Division B of the
Asian Basketball Championship,
after losing 41–63 to Thailand, on Saturday.

The Malaysian team reached the final round of the
Asian Championship after defeating the Philippines by a half-basket difference
66–65.
Mongolia, which defeated the Samoa Islands also with
a half-basket difference 65–64, will be meeting
Malaysia for a chance to get
promoted to Division A.
Hind Jumaa emerged from the national team, scoring
12 points, getting eight rebounds, a pass, and three steals. Fiona Dadson, also
emerged from the national team’s side scoring nine points with nine rebounds, a
pass, two steals, and a block shot.
