AMMAN — The women’s national basketball team, the
Women’s Falcons, advanced six places in the new ranking list issued by FIBA on
Monday.
The Women’s Falcons
ranked 73rd globally, 13th in Asia, and fourth in the Arab world, with 83.8
points in the latest FIBA ranking, after the former national team jumped 43
positions at once in the classification issued by FIBA at the end of last year,
ranking 79th globally and 16th in Asian, and fourth in the Arab world with a
score of 76.3 points at the time.
