medal in the 92kg weight category at the Arab Championship held in Saudi

thrilling victory against a Saudi wrestler in the quarterfinals, winning by
technical difference. He then faced a tough opponent from Morocco in the
semifinals and won by points.
In the final, Abu Duaij faced the African
champion, an Algerian wrestler, in what proved to be an intense and closely
contested match. However, Abu Duaij showed exceptional skill and determination,
managing to win the match 8-7 and securing the gold medal.

progressed to the final round along with seven other competitors.

campaign with a 2-0 win over Tajikistan in Group C in Uzbekistan.
