23 Tournaments and Camps on Jordanian Wrestling’s Busy Agenda for the New Year
Amman– The Jordan Wrestling Federation revealed its busy schedule of local and international participations and hosting events for the year 2025, which includes a packed series of tournaments and camps.اضافة اعلان

According to the approved program, the federation will kick off its activities for the new year by organizing the Kingdom’s Activating Championship for all age categories, which will take place at the Hussein Youth City Sports Hall from January 23 to 26.

The national women’s wrestling team will enter an external training camp in India from January 15 to 30, as part of their preparation for the Asian Championship. Meanwhile, the men’s Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling teams will have an external camp in Iraq and Iran from February 5 to 20.

The federation is also waiting to finalize the dates for the Saudi International Championship, which will take place in February, along with the approved age categories for participation.

Additionally, the federation will hold the Jordanian Caucasus Wrestling Championship for freestyle wrestling on February 22.

The national freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling teams for men will enter an internal training camp from March 8 to 20 in preparation for the Asian Championship (Freestyle, Greco-Roman, and Women), which will be hosted in Jordan at the Princess Sumaya Hall from March 25 to 30.

The federation will organize the Union Shield Championship for all categories from April 11 to 14, followed by participation in the West Asian Championship for athletes under 17, hosted by Iraq from April 25 to 27.

Jordan will also host the Arab Championship for the under-15 and under-20 categories from May 7 to 11, before the athletes enter an internal training camp for the under-15, under-17, and under-20 categories from May 25 to June 8.

The national teams for under-17 and under-23 will prepare for the Asian Championship in Vietnam, scheduled from June 14 to 22, followed by participation in the Arab Championship in Algeria for the same age groups from June 29 to July 2.

The federation will organize the Clubs and Centers League Championship for the under-12 and under-15 categories on June 27 and 28, followed by the national team’s participation in the Asian Championship for under-15 and under-20, which will take place in Kyrgyzstan from July 5 to 13.

Continuing the busy schedule for 2025, the federation will host a local tournament for centers and clubs for all categories on July 19, along with the Jordan Cup Championship for all categories from August 14 to 17.

The federation will also organize the Youth and Women’s Championship on September 5 and 6, followed by a week-long workshop from September 23 to October 25.

A select group of former players and current coaches will have the opportunity to compete for titles at the Masters World Championship in Hungary, taking place from October 7 to 12.

The federation will return to participate in the Arab Championship for men from October 31 to November 1 (location to be determined), before organizing another edition of the Jordanian Caucasus Championship in early November.

The final local tournament of the year will be held from November 20 to 23, featuring all age categories.
