Amman- The Jordanian goalkeeper coach for the Saudi Women's Football Club Al-Ahly, Loay Al-Amayra, praised the professional atmosphere in the Saudi Women's Premier League, noting that Saudi women's football is progressing steadily towards true professionalism.

He highlighted that all conditions for success in the league are in place, particularly with regard to infrastructure, financial requirements, and the professional environment, which helps expedite the journey toward global recognition.
Al-Amayra emphasized that Jordanian coach Manar Freij, who trains the team and the Jordanian players in Saudi clubs, has achieved remarkable success, enriching the competition with high-level technical performances, making Jordanian players a valuable addition to Saudi teams.
He also pointed out that the Jordanian training philosophy has proven its effectiveness in the Saudi league.
Currently, Jordanian players Ronda Kassab and Aya Al-Majali play for Al-Ahly Women's Team, while Shehinaz Jebreen plays for Al-Ittihad Saudi Women's Team, and Lana Feras plays for Al-Shabab Saudi Women's Team.
Al-Amayra also praised the exceptional success of coach Manar Freij in the Saudi Women's League, highlighting her clear influence on both performance and results, particularly in achieving titles and constantly competing for the league title, in addition to positively influencing player morale, which reflects well on her image.
Al-Amayra, who previously starred as a goalkeeper for the national teams and Al-Faisaly Club, stated that his coaching experience in the Saudi Women's League has been fruitful and successful, thanks to the ideal working conditions, which allow coaches to achieve success and make their names shine in foreign leagues.
He also praised the performance of the Jordanian professionals in the Saudi league, noting that all of them are influential stars, as evidenced by their significant role in achieving good results.
Regarding his next step, Al-Amayra confirmed that he is currently focused on his work with Al-Ahly Saudi Team and, together with Coach Freij, is keen to continue achieving success in the Saudi league, reinforcing the status of Jordanian women's football, which has excelled recently thanks to the strong support from the Jordan Football Association.
Regarding his follow-up on the national football team, which is competing for qualification to the 2026 World Cup, Al-Amayra expressed his optimism about the team's ability to reach the World Cup finals, citing the talented generation of players and the support that equips them to achieve this goal.
He added, "The national team enjoys great attention from His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Hussein, which serves as a significant motivator to elevate the players' spirits, positively affecting their performance in upcoming and important matches, renewing his confidence in the players to achieve the long-awaited accomplishment."
