AQABA – The Jordan Golf Federation concluded the
third round of the Jordan Golf League in its new format, which was held on the
courses of Ayla Golf Club in Aqaba on Friday and Saturday, amid high levels of
interaction from all pillars of golf.

The executive development Committee appreciated the
participants and their families for their efforts and contributions to the
success of the third round of the Jordan Golf League, which saw fierce
competition among the participants despite the hot weather that dominated the
first day of the tournament.
The Jordan Golf Federation's President, Dr. Nidal Al Majali,
expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the R&A for the financial
support they provided for the success of the Jordan Golf League Program, which
is now taking on a more organized, widespread, and mature form.
The tournament's final results were as follows:
Adult category (18) holes / first place: Shukri Saleh,
second place: Karim Barghouti, third place: Samer Halaweh.
As for the junior competitions, they were as follows:
The Elite category (36) holes / first place: Muhammad
Al-Rawashdeh, second place: Salem Al-Abdallat.
Junior Boys category (18) holes / first place: Murad
Al-Rawashdeh, second place: Youssef Katatasha, third place: Samaan Akroush.
Junior Girls category (18) holes / first place: Yasmine
Thaher, second place: Lillian Fouad, third place: Taleen Jabaji.
The Academy Course Competition (9) Holes / First place:
Lamar Shomali, Second place: Adam Salman, Third place: Muhammad Shaath.
The Academy Course Competition (6) Holes/ First place: Ahmed
Asad Al Rawashdeh, Second place: Julie Katatasha, Third place: Taj Akroush
In turn, the technical Manager Amer Radee confirmed that the
new experience in the current round of the league contributed to the
achievement of the desired goals, noting that the diversity of the local league
competitions now allows all age groups to demonstrate and develop their
technical and skill capabilities.
Eng. Sahel Dudin, Executive Director of the Ayla Oasis
Development Company, on the other hand, emphasized the importance of ongoing
collaboration between Ayla, the Jordan Olympic Committee, and the Jordan Golf
Federation in order to build a promising generation that contributes to the
Jordan national team, highlighting Ayla's willingness of its professional
technical teams to create the conditions and Ayla Academy and facilities for
the championships' success.
It is worth noting that the tournament refereeing was managed
by the Jordan Referees Committee head Shadi Al-Jabaji, who was assisted by
referee Moath Qatasheh and members of the General Security Directorate team
Asad Rawashdeh, Mohammad Hani, Anas Al-amreen, and Wissam Ghawadreh.
