PRESS RELEASE — On Friday, Ayla Oasis Development Company hosted the third round of the
Medal Eclectic Challenge and Ayla Junior League Challenge, attracting broad
international participation with 20 players from seven countries. The goal of
the event is to boost golf at both local and regional levels and involve
promising players in professional competitions.

The third round, held at Ayla Golf Club, featured competitions among
Amateurs and promising players from Jordan, the United States, Britain,
Scotland, Russia, South Korea, and Thailand. Participants learned about the
high potential of Ayla Golf Academy and the tourism and sports advantages in
Ayla. The event also aimed to hone the skills of a new generation of young
players in Jordan and promote the sport in the country by providing advanced
training opportunities.
The Medal Eclectic Challenge comprises 11 matches throughout the year,
culminating in the final match where valuable prizes are awarded. Similarly,
the Ayla Junior League Challenge, hosting players in age categories (under 18
years old), includes 11 matches throughout the year, with winners honored in
the final match.
Jason Vermeulen, head coach of Ayla Golf Club, expressed his delight
with this new round, considering it a valuable initiative to introduce golf,
provide training and development opportunities for promising players in Jordan
and the region. Ayla's experiences have proven that these sporting events
significantly contribute to the development of new generations.
Vermeulen emphasized that organizing these matches demonstrates Ayla
Golf Club's readiness for upcoming major sporting events in the 2024 agenda,
and it contributes to enhancing the golf scene in Jordan and the region.

Academy division- Simon Akroush
Ayla continues its efforts to develop golf nationally, collaborating
with relevant institutions to promote the sport among talented Jordanian youth,
support participation in leading international, regional, and local activities,
and provide training and qualification opportunities. Leveraging high-level
infrastructure ensures the organized execution of major events.
