AMMAN —
The Jordan Handball Federation has slated June 22 as
the launch date for its national games, starting with the
Jordan Cup for Women,
which will end two weeks later.

Ahead of the start of the official competitions, which were
endorsed by the association’s general assembly, friendly matches will be played
in June among centers of “promising players”.
The juniors championship for boys and girls, will start on
July 1 and end on August 2, while the period between July 9 and August 14 will
see the women’s club tournament.
The second-division competition will start on July 16
through August 30, while the Super Cup match, between Al-Arabi and Al-Ahli,
will be held on either July 30 or 31,
kicking off the
Jordan Cup championship for men, which will extend between
August 2 and October 16.
Men’s club league competitions, first division, will be held
between August 6 and November 2. At the beginning of 2022, two junior
tournaments will be held for the youth (for males and females born 2004–2005),
followed by competitions for youth born 2002–2003. Junior games are slated for
May 22, followed immediately for the second gathering of promising players
centers.
Meanwhile, the handball federation has announced the
official dates for registering players for the 2021-2022 season, which will
start Tuesday.
The association has set a schedule for clubs to come and
register new players.
