AMMAN — The Jordanian national basketball team is gearing up
to compete in the 2023 Basketball World Cup finals, which will be held jointly
in the Philippines, Indonesia, and Japan from August 25 to September 10.

The Falcons have officially qualified for the World Cup for
the second time and the third in its history.
Group C includes various opponents for Jordan, including the
teams of the US, Greece, and New Zealand.
The International Basketball Federation (FIBA) distributed
the 32 participating teams into eight groups, with four teams in each group
based on their rankings in the latest international classification, except for
the Philippines, the US, Slovenia, and Canada, for various reasons.
Other notable groups in the World Cup include:Group A, which includes Angola, the Dominican Republic, the
Philippines, and Italy.
Group B, which includes South Sudan, Serbia, China, and
Puerto Rico.
Group D, which included Egypt, Mexico, Montenegro, and Lithuania.
Group E, which includes Germany, Finland, Australia, and
Japan.
Group F, which includes Slovenia, Cape Verde, Georgia, and
Venezuela.
Group G, which includes Iran, Spain, Ivory Coast, and
Brazil.
Group H, which includes Canada, Latvia, Lebanon, and France.
