— The Jordan Golf League concluded its 2023 season on Saturday at Ayla Golf
Club in Aqaba. The league featured 34 participants from various age groups.
Mohammed Al-Rawashdeh won the championship title in the overall Elite category,
while Yasmin Al-Zaher secured the first position in the Women's category. Iyad
Younis claimed the first position in the Adults' category, and Murad
Al-Rawashdeh emerged as the champion in the Under-13 category. Lamar Al-Shumli
won the Academy competition, and Ahmed Al-Rawashdeh led in the Males Under 10
years category.

officials and representatives from Ayla Development Company congratulated the
winners. In his address, union president Kareem Al-Barghouthi shared that the
union is actively working on game development and increasing its popularity. He
announced a diverse program for the next season, featuring competitions between
the Basharat Club in Amman and the Ayla Club in Aqaba.
The
Jordan Olympic Committee, Ayla Development Company, club staff, R&A Club,
Basharat Club, General Security Directorate, and the players' families were
thanked for their support. Amer Radi, the technical director of the national
team, affirmed that despite the challenges faced during the season, the set
goals were successfully achieved. He expressed joy at the noticeable
improvement in the performance of all players, foreseeing a promising future
for Jordanian golf. Radi highlighted the season's significant achievements,
emphasizing the success of the golf system in Jordan.
Here
are the results of the final round:
●Elite competition: Salem Al-Abdallat secured the first position, followed by Mohammed Al-Rawashdeh in second, and Daniel Zaher in third.
●Adults category: Iyad Younis claimed the first position, followed by Kareem Al-Barghouthi in second, and Jafar Hajawi in third.
●Women's category: Yasmin Al-Zaher secured the first position, followed by Lillian Mujahid in second, and Miar Al-Shumli in third.
●Men's competition: Murad Al-Rawashdeh claimed the first position, followed by Yusuf Qattash in second, and Simaan Akroush in third.
●Academy category: Lamar Al-Shumli secured the first position, followed by Adam Salman in second, and Mohammed Shahada in third.
●Males under 10 years category: Ahmed Al-Rawashdeh claimed the first position, followed by Juliana Qattash in second, and Adam Abu Al-Rab in third.
