Jordan wins 2 golds, one silver in Asia Taekwondo Championship

AMMAN — Jordan’s National Taekwondo Team won two gold and one silver medals on Friday, concluding its participation at the Asia Championship in Lebanon.اضافة اعلان

Athlete Juliana Al-Sadeq received the gold medal for the below 67kg weight class, after defeating her Iranian counterpart 26-4 in the final, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Meanwhile, Saleh Al-Sharabati won gold for the under 80kg weight class, with a victory in the final over China of 11-3.

In the final Asia Taekwondo Championship, Zaid Halawani received the silver medal after he lost against his counterpart from Uzbekistan, 29-27, according to Petra.
