AMMAN — The
Jordan Basketball Federation has proudly
announced the signing of Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, a 28-year-old American
player, as the newest addition to the Jordanian national men's
basketball team for the upcoming 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup. This highly-anticipated
tournament will be jointly hosted by the Philippines, Japan, and Indonesia from
August 25th to September 10th.

Standing tall at 198 cm, Jefferson brings versatility to the
team as he excels in both forward and power forward positions. Having previously
showcased his skills in the NBA for six years, representing prominent teams
like the Brooklyn Nets, Toronto Raptors, and
Portland Trail Blazers, he boasts
a wealth of experience at the highest level of basketball. Moreover, he has
also ventured into various professional leagues across Turkey, South Korea, the
Philippines, and Puerto Rico, with notable success, earning himself the title
of
Most Valuable Player (MVP) during his stint in the Filipino league.
The American basketball star is enthusiastically
participating in the Jordanian national team's intensive training camp, held in
the Republic of Lithuania. All eyes are on him as he prepares for the friendly
match between the Jordanian Falcons and Lithuania, which will serve as the
perfect culmination to their training camp.

significant asset to the team during the training camp in Portugal. There, the
Jordanian national team will engage in intense friendly matches against strong
opponents, including the Ivory Coast, the Czech Republic, and Portugal, as part

from July 26th to July 30th.
