AMMAN — The Jordanian delegation's participation in the 19th edition of the Asian Games, hosted by the Chinese city of
Hangzhou, is set to
begin on Sunday, September 23rd, and will continue until October 8.

Starting on Sunday, teams for gymnastics,
esports, fencing, and boxing will commence their participation in the
Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games, Alsaa reported.
Ahmed Abu Al-Soud, representing
Jordan in gymnastics,
is expected to compete in the qualification rounds for the pommel horse
apparatus.
In addition, Abdul Hakim Al Darawsheh, the
national esports player for Jordan, will launch his tournament participation by
facing the South Korean player Park Ki-Young in the round of 32 in the EA
SPORTS FC ONLINE game.
Meanwhile, in the national fencing team, both
Dina Al-Mansi and Shahd Al-Kaloub will be competing in the women's épée
individual competition.
As for the Jordanian boxing team, Selina
Al-Hasanat will go head-to-head with the Indian boxer "Preeti" in the
round of 16 in the women's under-54 kg category, while Abada Al-Kasbah will
face Kazakhstan's Zhenolinov Yertugan in the round of 32.
