Amman - The national football team has intensified its training in Turkey, conducting morning and evening sessions under the supervision of Moroccan head coach Jamal Sellami.

The team is focusing on both technical and physical conditioning as part of their training camp in Burdur, which runs until July 25. This camp is a critical preparation phase for the upcoming third and final round of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
Daily sessions are being held at the Lavanta Sports Complex, emphasizing physical fitness and technical skills. In addition, strength training exercises are conducted in the gym at their accommodation.
In a recent friendly match, the national team achieved a resounding 9-0 victory over Turkish team Isparta, played Friday evening at the Lavanta University Stadium. The coaching staff rotated 21 players throughout the match to assess their performance.
Medical evaluations revealed that player Ihsan Haddad sustained an injury during the match and will be resting for the remainder of the camp.
The national team is placed in Group B for the third and final round of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, alongside South Korea, Iraq, Oman, Palestine, and Kuwait.
According to the qualification system, teams are divided into three groups of six. The top two teams from each group will qualify directly for the 2026 World Cup, while the third and fourth-placed teams will proceed to the fourth round of qualifiers.
