Amman – The national football team has ramped up its technical and physical training during its ongoing camp in Qatar, which will run until January 29, in preparation for continuing its journey in the third and final round of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

The camp includes daily morning and evening training sessions, with the team conducting fitness exercises at its accommodation’s gym and holding field training sessions at Qatar University Stadium.
The camp features three friendly matches:
Zenit St. Petersburg (Russia) on Tuesday at 5:00 PM at Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium.
A rematch with Zenit on Friday at 8:00 PM at Hamad Al-Kabeer Stadium.
Uzbekistan on Monday, January 27, at 8:00 PM at Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium.
Current Standing in Qualifiers
The national team is competing in Group B of the decisive qualifying round, currently in third place with 9 points.
South Korea leads with 14 points, followed by Iraq with 11 points.
Oman is in fourth place with 6 points, followed by Kuwait with 4 points, and Palestine in sixth with 3 points.
Qualifying System
The qualifiers consist of three groups, each with six teams.
The top two teams in each group qualify directly for the 2026 World Cup.
Teams finishing third and fourth in each group will compete in the fourth qualifying round.
