AMMAN — Friday will mark the beginning of the Al-Hussein
Rumman Hill Climb. The three-round race will run over a 3,000-meter course,
with a 200-meter start and 446-meter finish — boasting a 243-meter altitude
difference and 8-percent incline.

The event will be broadcast on Al-Mamlaka TV and via YouTube
and Facebook, but will not allow racing fans to attend in light of strict
COVID-19 measures.
Meanwhile, Amir Al-Najjar (senior category) and Abdullah
Al-Dasouqi (junior category) were crowned champions of the Jordan karting
tournament’s first round, which took place at the
Jordan Speed Center over the
weekend.
Drivers in both categories had to go through a warm-up
stage, qualifying round, a pre-final round of 15 laps for the first race and a
final round for the second race of 20 laps.
