Karate
In a display of skill and determination, Jordan Karate
Federation national team player Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Masatfa emerged victorious,
clinching the gold medal at the World Karate League held in Fukuoka, Japan.
Al-Masatfa showcased his prowess by defeating his compatriot
Afif Ghaith, who secured the silver medal in an intense final.
In an Instagram post, Masatfa celebrated his success by
thanking all of his supporters.
Archery
Meanwhile, the Jordan Archery Cup reached its conclusion
after two days of fierce competition at the Al-Hussein Youth City Club,
following the national team’s remarkable performance in the 13th Arab Archery
Championship held in Djerba, Tunisia, last April.
WrestlingThe Jordan Wrestling Federation is gearing up for this
highly anticipated 13th edition of the Arab Championship, set to take place in
Algeria from July 5-15. National team players Abdul Karim Abu D’aj, Orts Shamil
Taj Eldeen, Arzo Shmail Taj Eldeen, Mustaf Al-Qadi, Suhaib Al-Hasanat, Sultan
Al Damen, Yahya Hussein Abu Tabikh, and Amr Abdel Fattah, will proudly
represent the Kingdom in both freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling categories.
GolfExcitement looms in the world of golf as the Golf Federation
announces the organization of the 32nd Jordan International Open Championship,
scheduled for September 6 at the picturesque Ayla Oasis in Aqaba.
Anticipated to attract the participation of approximately 17
Arab and foreign countries, this renowned tournament carries significant weight
in the world amateur ranking, pending official confirmation from the
representatives of the participating nations' federations.
SwimmingFurthermore, the national swimming team is preparing to make
a splash at the Koman International Championship in Greece, slated to take
place from June 16-18. Adnan Al-Abdallat and Amr Hussein have been selected by
the technical staff to represent Jordan in this prestigious international competition,
where they will compete against top swimmers from around the world.
