Boxing Championship, the Arab Basketball Championship, the AHF Women's
President Cup (West Asian Women's Championship), and the U17 Women's Football
friendly series against India.

BoxingIn a triumphant display last
Friday, national Olympian Ziad Ishaiash dominated the ring at the Golden Belt
Boxing Championship in Marrakech, Morocco.
Facing stiff competition in
the 67-71kg weight class, Ishaiash rose to the challenge and secured the gold
medal with a victory over the Democratic Republic of the Congo's Steve
Kolingolka.
BasketballBasketball fever is heading
to Doha as the national 3x3 men's and women's teams gear up to compete in the
Arab championship from Monday.
Representing the women's team
are Zara Al-Najjar, Liliana Abu Jabara, Maria Al-Han, and Masa Al-Noubani. At
the same time, the men's roster boasts talented players Nader Ahmed, Zane
Najdawi, Khalid Abu Aboud, and Ahmad Hassouneh.
Led by coach Haitham Talib
and with the support of physiotherapist Louai Marayat, these athletes are
taking on the court today.
HandballThe national women's handball
squad showed their prowess on the court as they secured a 28-20 win against
Iraq in the second round of the AHF Women's President Cup (West Asian Women's
Championship) on Saturday.
The match took place at the Princess
Sumaya Sports City hall, with the home team delivering a dominant performance
to secure the victory.
FootballThe U17 national women's team
faced off against India in a two-match friendly series. Jordan lost 0-6 in last
Thursday's match at Prince Mohammed Stadium in Zarqa.
Earlier last Monday, India
also emerged victorious with a 7-0 win on the same pitch.
These matches are part of
preparatory efforts by the national team for the 2024 AFC U17 Women's Asian Cup
qualifiers for Group H hosted by the Jordanian Football Federation from April
22 to 30 in the city of Aqaba, with the participation of Iran and Nepal.
